About Masters School of Music

Masters School of Music was created in 1989 by director Matt Kalin. A 1984 Music Education graduate of Humboldt State University, Matt noticed a need for music programs in small private schools. He developed and tailored programs to fit the needs of each individual school and continues to do so today.

Masters School of Music uses modern and traditional teaching methods to create a fun and exciting program for the young musician. The MSM philosophy is that playing music should be a positive experience on the road to personal growth. Remember, the study of music can lead to increased academic achievement as well as contributing to a balanced education for the young student.
